It can be used to write successful and effective survey questions, create survey flow and layout, gather responses, calculate response rates and do intelligent results analysis. I've used Survey Monkey and have found it to be very easy to use. It's also not that expensive to use if you want more than 10 questions in your survey. You can pay for just a month for example if you need it for a short-term project.
